In 1971, Shin-il Machinery was formally established in Gaya-dong, Jin-gu, Busan. In 1977, it successfully localized the portable boring machine (Stern Tube, Rudder(Horn) Processing) for the first time in South Korea. In 1981, Shin-il exported gear reducers (Japan) and won an award for excellent machines (Small and Medium Business Administration). In 1985, the localization of CNC DEEP-HOLE DRILLING M/C was successful. In 1991, the CNC DEEP-HOLE DRILLING M/C was exported. In 1992, a full-time research and development department was set up to introduce top-notch professionals. In 1993, the first CNC drilling machine for steel structure was successfully developed in South Korea. In 2000, it was designated as an excellent enterprise with technological competitiveness, and was selected as a member of the local academic-industrial committee for training competent people in the mechanical industry as a part of the Brain Korea 21 Local Development Project. In 2010, it was registered as the equipment auxiliary and equipment manufacturing enterprise of South Korea Water Resources and Atomic Energy Corporation-Grade A. In 2013, 7-axis machine was developed and exported. In 2014, SHIN-IL STARK (Suzhou, China) was established; developed and exported deep-hole (machining diameter: ø200, machining depth: 10, 000 mm) machine (Japan); co-developed ø80BTA milling multifunctional machine tool (Samsung Electronics). In 2016, 2 spindle BTA machine was developed. In 2019, portable boring (ø200X135, 00 mm) machine was developed. In 2020, electric spark and lettering composite machine (for roller processing and steel bar production) was developed.
Shin-il Machinery independently designs, develops and produces 10 types of machine tools, such as CNC Deep hole Drilling M/C, CNC Drilling center, CNC Notch milling M/C, and designs and develops new products according to customer requirements. Over the past 50 years, it has designed, developed and produced CNC machine tools related to moulds, auto parts, ships, ship engine parts, wind power related machinery, chemical complete sets of equipment, firepower, heavy equipment, etc. Up to now, it has more than 1000 sets of supply performance in the world and exported to 16 countries overseas. Shin-il Machinery has also developed a CNC deep hole drilling center that can realize drilling, tapping, end milling and section turning at one time, which solves the problems of many mould processing enterprises, shortens the processing time and improves the production and competitiveness.
